About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build BPS and CPG counter-proposals for competitive offers
- Calculate the financial impact of concessions before they are offered
- Provide pricing negotiation models within a target turnaround of under 48 hours
- Co-own Monthly Business Review preparation for Account Managers
- Pull account-specific data, structure review decks, and validate them
- Track won, lost, pending, and stalled save attempts
- Identify competitive, pricing-tier, and objection patterns
- Surface monthly win/loss root causes to the Manager
- Identify underutilized program benefits including Edge, CLI, IFTA, Secure Fuel, and Autopay
- Prioritize product gaps by revenue impact and flag them to Account Managers or Advisors
- Run monthly debriefs with the AM and Advisor team
- Coach teams on value framing, objection handling, and closing saves
- Build and maintain the commercial playbook
- Serve as live escalation support during Winning Clinic calls
- Provide real-time BPS modeling, fee waiver authorization, and counter-proposal support
- Support formal RFIs and RFPs with pricing models, competitive positioning, and financial justification
- Co-own complex or above-authority RFPs and escalate them to the Manager for final review
- Partner with D&A to build a live performance dashboard tracking targets, saved accounts, revenue preserved, and portfolio health
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–5 years in pricing, financial analysis, revenue management, or a comparable analytical B2B role
- Comfortable building BPS or CPG counter-offer models under time pressure
- Strong analytical modeling ability
- Commercial curiosity and ability to understand customer needs
- Marketing background and experience translating data into compelling narratives for leadership or partner audiences
- Able to coach front-line Account Managers and Advisors
- Salesforce proficiency for win/loss and pricing case data
- Fleet, fuel card, or fintech background, with familiarity with CPG pricing, rebate structures, and basis points
- Experience running a formal win/loss analysis process
- Experience coaching or training a sales, account management, or retention team
- Comfortable working directly from live call escalations
