About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, drive, and execute a long-term vision and strategy for the Merchant ecosystem
- Drive, prioritize, and work with product and commercial partners
- Maintain a well-thought-out roadmap and create clear interdependent OKRs
- Be a hands-on technical leader with full ownership of systems design
- Drive end-to-end AI-DLC from initial concept through deployment
- Implement mechanisms to reduce time-to-market
- Hire, lead, manage, retain, and grow high-performance software engineers
- Collaborate with other Mobility engineering teams to reuse development practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with 4+ years of engineering management experience
- Expertise in developing large-scale distributed systems
- Proven experience in testing and validating solutions for accuracy and performance
- Ability to automate generating scaffolding code, unit tests, and integration tests using past execution data and generative AI
- Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements in cloud and data environments
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
