About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and secure new accounts for Valero Fleet Card programs
- Meet or exceed monthly KPIs (net cards, gallons, revenue)
- Develop a strategic plan for territory expansion in collaboration with your sales manager
- Self-generate leads and build a robust pipeline of fleet opportunities
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce
- Demonstrate exceptional discovery and presentation skills
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of outside sales experience with a proven track record in client acquisition and relationship building
- Demonstrated consistent quota performance in a business-to-business sales environment
- Ability to sell against the competition
- Strong prospect-channel identification, development, and qualification skills
- High degree of territory management capability, including a multi-state territory
- Willingness to travel via air or vehicle
- Successful completion of a background investigation
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
