- Prototype in Figma
- Act as a bridge between design and engineering by using AI-assisted design & prototyping tools to accelerate ideation and delivery.
- Maintain prototype work in a repo (clear structure, runnable setup, repeatable demos).
- Show key flows, states, edge cases, and constraints with mock data.
- Ensure prototypes include keyboard basics, semantic structure, and responsive layouts.
- Use a text-to-code tool to generate a starting point, then edit and improve the output.
- Iterate quickly based on feedback and evolving requirements.
- Contribute to problem framing, IA, and research synthesis as teams define the new experience.
- Plan and run lightweight usability sessions, then adjust prototypes based on findings.
- Use internal shadcn-based components and keep UI consistent with WEX standards.
Requirements
- Strong experience of UX/Product Design experience.
- Ability to build and edit frontend prototypes using industry standard design tools, like Figma.
- Experience using at least one AI coding tool (Cursor is a strong plus).
- Comfort moving fast without relying on pixel-perfect static files.
- Strong collaboration habits with engineers and product partners.
- Ability to operate well when requirements are still forming (you clarify, propose, test, and iterate).
