About the role
- responsible for new and existing relationships with WEX’s Employee Benefits broker/consultant channel
- managing a region of the country
- generating Requests For Proposals
- contributing to the Mid-Market and Lead Generation team
- reaching an annual sales quota
- understanding the relationship between employee benefits consultants, employers, and Sales is required
- managing the logistics of travel throughout the country
- planning and setting up own travel schedule, reservations, and logistics required for meetings
- establishing and attending meetings with new and existing relationships to further partnership and generate Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- conducting presentations
- providing product training and demonstrations to penetrate and grow market share
- prioritizing growth opportunities
- participating in weekly 1:1 development meetings with the Regional Vice President of Sales and weekly regional team meetings
- tracking and updating channel and client contacts using tracking software
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Previous sales experience
- Proven history of sales and relationship success
- Desire and ability to lead from your seat
- Computer proficiency is required
- Interpersonal communication skills
- Must be an independent worker
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
- Has the ability to differentiate between exceptional and good customer service delivery.
