About the role

  • responsible for expanding new and existing relationships with our broker/consultant channel
  • managing a region of the country
  • building relationships with enterprise level consultants
  • generating RFPs specific to large enterprise opportunities
  • obtaining an annual sales goal and seeing the sales process through from start to finish
  • engaging with key internal stakeholders to help close enterprise opportunities
  • collaborating with the sales coordinator, marketing resources, and implementation and other support teams
  • delivering online product demonstrations and onsite meetings when applicable
  • identifying product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
  • establishing and attending meetings with new and existing relationships to generate Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in the health benefits account industry
  • high energy, well organized, team player
  • ability to lead cross-functional teams throughout the entire sales cycle
  • demonstrated history of exceeding sales goals
  • self-driven and ambitious professional
  • proven ability for prospecting and building relationships with health benefit brokers and consultants
  • strong interpersonal skills and excellent relationship building
  • high emotional intelligence
  • strong written and oral communication skills
  • excellent contract and proposal negotiation skills
  • experience utilizing sales tools including Salesforce.com
  • strong leadership experience
