About the role
- Lead and drive the technical development and architecture of the digital credit application UI
- Help design the UI architecture and lead the implementation of complex, multi-step user flows
- Challenge the status quo and drive for better technical solutions
- Closely partner with senior engineers and product managers
- Partner closely with the Information Security team
- Create, prioritize, communicate, manage, and execute front-end roadmaps
- Set a high technical bar, and provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams
- Advise Senior Leadership on highly complex situations impacting the UI platform
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive software design and development experience
- Strong software development skills in React (preferred) or Angular/Vue and TypeScript
- Deep experience architecting, developing, and deploying large-scale, mission-critical applications
- Proven experience designing and implementing Micro Front-End architectures
- Demonstrated mastery of modern UI development trends
- Mandatory experience working closely with UX and Product design teams
- Critical leadership experience in mentoring senior and mid-level engineers
- Expertise in consuming and integrating with backend services using modern data fetching techniques
