About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for leading, managing and driving sales and profitability of Westlake Royal Building Products’ brands within the Roofing Solutions Category
- Support market research and market analysis for the Roofing Solutions Category
- Contribute to product strategy, oversee project implementation, and ensure successful launch of products
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, engineering, and operations to achieve revenue and profitability goals
- Full P&L responsibility for managed product lines
- Product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle
- Provide effective and timely communications to internal and external customers
- Manage all pre-product launch activities including beta jobs and early-stage activities coordinated with Sales
- Lead and/or support cross-functional teams including members from Manufacturing, R&D, Finance and Sales
- Participate in annual budget creation and manage budget forecasts, spending, and variances for projects or activities related to assigned product lines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other related fields
- A minimum of 5 years of marketing, sales, or related experience
- Experience in Stage/Gate process a plus
- Proven track record of success thriving in an energetic, fast paced work environment
- Building materials experience desired, but not required
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently but also hold self and others accountable to create results through disciplined execution
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Project management skills, and sound understanding of marketing principles
- Demonstrated level of effective problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS office, sales reporting tools, and web-based applications required
- Proficient with MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience with JDE preferable
