About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for leading, managing and driving sales and profitability of Westlake Royal Building Products’ brands within the Roofing Solutions Category
  • Support market research and market analysis for the Roofing Solutions Category
  • Contribute to product strategy, oversee project implementation, and ensure successful launch of products
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, engineering, and operations to achieve revenue and profitability goals
  • Full P&L responsibility for managed product lines
  • Product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle
  • Provide effective and timely communications to internal and external customers
  • Manage all pre-product launch activities including beta jobs and early-stage activities coordinated with Sales
  • Lead and/or support cross-functional teams including members from Manufacturing, R&D, Finance and Sales
  • Participate in annual budget creation and manage budget forecasts, spending, and variances for projects or activities related to assigned product lines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other related fields
  • A minimum of 5 years of marketing, sales, or related experience
  • Experience in Stage/Gate process a plus
  • Proven track record of success thriving in an energetic, fast paced work environment
  • Building materials experience desired, but not required
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently but also hold self and others accountable to create results through disciplined execution
  • Excellent teamwork skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Project management skills, and sound understanding of marketing principles
  • Demonstrated level of effective problem-solving skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office, sales reporting tools, and web-based applications required
  • Proficient with MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience with JDE preferable
