About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead E&C participation in gas project technology and commercial due diligence
  • Evaluate commercial commitments, constructability, site integration complexity, and utility interconnection requirements
  • Coordinate engineering subject matter experts on balance-of-plant, interconnection, gas and water supply, wastewater, and air emissions requirements
  • Lead Technology Review, capital estimate, project schedule development, and Preliminary Engineering phases
  • Coordinate subject matter experts for site configuration reviews and risk assessments
  • Participate in negotiating commercial offtake agreements, permitting sites, and interconnection processes
  • Partner with Integrated Supply Chain on RFQ input, scope review, and bid evaluation for major equipment and EPC/EPCM scopes
  • Lead schedule development, cost benchmarking, cashflow modeling, and risk-adjusted cost positioning for project sanction decisions
  • Report to the onsite Manager with no direct reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in energy project development or large capital construction
  • Experience in EPC/EPCM project delivery, cost estimating, schedule development, and project risk management for gas generation projects
  • Experience procuring major equipment and EPC/EPCM contracts, including bid preparation, evaluation, negotiation, and award
  • Experience with combined-cycle or simple-cycle gas development across multiple geographies and regulatory environments
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project or Primavera project management and scheduling software
