About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Compile and analyze environmental, land use, engineering, permitting, team member, and constructability constraints.
Develop routing alternatives using company routing tools and geospatial systems.
Conduct desktop assessments (and occasional field-based assessment opportunities)
Prepare reports and project deliverables; and support project teams through early-stage development.
You will be a technical specialist responsible for developing defensible routing recommendations through the integration of geospatial, environmental, engineering, land use, permitting, and partner considerations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science, Planning, GIS, or related field preferred but not required
6–10 years of relevant experience
Experience supporting electric transmission, natural gas pipeline, water pipeline, renewable energy, data center, or other linear infrastructure projects
Knowledge of electric transmission development, renewable energy generation projects, and data center development is a plus
Experience using geospatial tools and data to evaluate routing opportunities, constraints, and project feasibility.
