Contribute to a holistic technology scouting and innovation strategy aligned with corporate and team goals.
Monitor global technology trends, innovation ecosystems, and competitor activities.
Identify and assess latest technologies, startups, academic research, and industry developments.
Build strategic relationships with external partners, including startups, universities, national labs, and technology accelerators.
Collaborate with strategic roadmaps team, engineering, R&D, digital, and teams to identify customer needs and technology gaps.
Identify and deliver external funding opportunities (government and private) to accelerate technology maturation.
Support business case development, including financial modeling and valuation inputs, and cost-benefit and ROI analysis.
Deliver clear, structured recommendations to leadership through memos, business opportunity assessments, technology watches and investment proposals.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in a nuclear-related field (e.g., nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, physics, or related), with advanced degrees or research background
5 + years of post-education experience in technology scouting, product development, innovation management, engineering, strategy, or technology commercialization in the energy or adjacent sectors.
Knowledge of latest technologies and applications of nuclear energy.
