About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct plant testing, performance testing, ISO/GIA/PPA Testing and startup of a Battery Energy Storage System and Solar Coupled Power systems
- Oversee aspects of the energy storage system including compliance, status reporting, safety, startup, commissioning, and testing
- Manage and report on commissioning, and performance testing work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project site
- Support PPA Testing with Customer
- Support GIA Testing with TO
- Support ISO testing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Battery Energy Storage Systems installation and startup
- Must have a thorough understanding of the technical, performance, and integration of Li-Ion batteries as part of ESS
- Commissioning process creation
- Understanding of containerized systems, skids, controllers/SCADA, transformers, combiners
- Thorough understanding of DC systems (0-2,000Vdc) and AC systems (480V-34.5kV)
- Experience with control and SCADA systems and troubleshooting.
