About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead teams to complete and deliver multiple continuous improvement projects across Westinghouse using both PDCA and DMAIC methodologies and Lean Six-Sigma tools
- Identify and lead Kaizen Events throughout Westinghouse to improve complex business and manufacturing processes, improving quality, productivity, and cost performance
- Use Lean Six-Sigma tools to ensure data-driven decision-making
- Be the change agent to promote a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring adoption and sustainment of continuous improvement projects throughout the organization
- Report progress, challenges, and successes to project sponsors and continuous improvement leadership
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and training on the use of Lean and Six-Sigma tools and methodologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Engineering or Operations Management degree preferred.
- Experience leading Lean Six-Sigma and continuous improvement projects
- Black Belt certification or pursuing a Black Belt certification.
- Experience managing teams and leading continuous improvement projects.
- Able to travel up to 30% of the time, including international.
