Project Engineer
Westinghouse Electric CompanyNDT Project Engineer specializing in software, HMI, and programming for nuclear inspection solutions at Westinghouse. Involved in engineering, software development, and field support for advanced inspection technologies.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct studies related to the development and implementation of NDT methods
- Design and develop robotic systems and HMI solutions for NDT applications
- Contribute to the development of digital tools and innovation initiatives
- Lead and/or perform development and qualification testing of NDT processes
- Analyze results, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement
- Produce high-quality technical documentation in French and English
- Train field personnel ahead of nuclear plant operations
- Provide technical supervision during on-site interventions
- Participate in tender preparation (technical and commercial proposals)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree (Engineering or equivalent) in a technical field
- Experience in industrial programming or software development applied to industrial processes
- Experience in robotics and automation systems
- Experience in visual inspection of welds (direct or remote) is highly valued
- Certification in VT and/or PT Level 2 required
- Additional ISO 9712 certifications (Level 2 or Level 3) are a plus
- Experience in the nuclear industry and/or with EDF is an advantage
- Fluent French and English required
- Valid driving license (B)
