Lead the Specialty Welding & Machining efforts related to reactor component upgrades, replacements and repairs and other scopes related to the Specialty Welding & Machining scope of supply
Lead the business segment for opportunities and help Westinghouse differentiate and provide competitive offerings through understanding of customer-specific requirements, solution selection, technical content of proposal, costing and pricing, responsiveness, and quality of bid
Develop and leverage key customer relationships to facilitate understanding of customer needs and create proposals with value proposition to meet customer needs and secure OE
Accountable for OE and opportunity pipeline growth for product/technology areas
Assess near-term market trends, customer buying patterns and competitor moves to adjust product positioning
Recommend price to capture maximum market value while delivering on business plan assumptions; collaborate with sales on final price and capture planning
Support SWM activities to aggregate product financials and monthly financial forecasting
Support business unit activities to develop resource demand signal and engage with resource management when needed
Engage on emergent customer issues, lead team until project management is available, and work with collective team to develop technical and commercial solutions
Collaborate with project teams to understand status of projects and support resolution of challenges during project execution
Develop relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure people, processes and technology are available to deliver offer commitments and enable market growth
Collaborate and coordinate with peer leaders in AOMS and LTO to ensure cohesive approach to market and holistic customer support and satisfaction
Collaborate with global product management on product strategy, product roadmaps, technology roadmaps, and innovation ideas
Report to the Vice President of Specialty Welding and Machining
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline or technical degree in related technical discipline or demonstrated related experience
10+ years of relevant experience in product management, business or operations preferably in the welding and machining service industry or nuclear field service industry
Knowledge of field welding and machining
Ability to build strong customer relationships and provide customer insights
Experience with proposal development, costing and pricing for technical services
Experience supporting field welding, machining, reactor head, core barrel and piping repairs (preferred)
Willingness to engage on emergent customer issues and lead teams until project management is available
