About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work as part of a team delivering communications campaigns for the APX business unit to win new plant business in North America for Westinghouse's portfolio of advanced nuclear reactors.
Understand local industry organizations and events, identifying opportunities for participation to demonstrate thought leadership and enhance our brand.
Collaborate with teams – including marketing, commercial, sales, operations and legal – to produce materials that demonstrate the benefits of our technologies to our customers.
Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the Global Communications team to ensure delivery of materials.
Support internal communications to ensure employee engagement and understanding of company values.
Ensure brand consistency across all local communication channels.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in communications, marketing communications, journalism.
5+ years of experience in a corporate setting.
Proficiency in one or more of the following areas: corporate communications, public relations, media relations, government relations, brand marketing, or a related field.
Preferably, this experience is in an industrial environment.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills and the ability to communicate/collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Experience in corporate communications, brand management, social media engagement.
Working knowledge and application of AP writing style.
