About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage all assigned substation projects for FERC 1000 RFP's and Early Stage Diligence Projects
- Work with Early-Stage Project Manager to support engineering requirements and scope with Development Group
- Train external engineers of record (EOR) for all projects
- Secure engineering consulting resources and manage project long lead major material orders
- Support RFP / Diligence effort and E&C Estimating with template updates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering preferred
- 7+ years experience in Substation design and engineering of High Voltage substation projects
- HVDC experience is helpful
- Project Engineering and Project Management experience
- PMP or P.E. in related discipline is helpful
- Some travel required within North America
