About the role

  • Support CAD Administration Lead in daily tasks
  • Plan, schedule and complete assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements
  • Oversee the creation and development of 3D models and related engineering data
  • Oversee creation and revision control of drawings derived from 3D models or otherwise created
  • Oversee data management tools used to store and maintain CAD data
  • Perform associated software administration tasks, communication with software vendor and approval of license usage
  • Work with important partners to maintain interface connections between CAD management tools and other enterprise software solutions for data collection and reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Knowledge of CAD applications, Autodesk, AVEVA, and Hexagon-based products
  • Troubleshoot software issues
  • Understanding of software development techniques and processes
  • Understanding of several CAD software applications
