About the role
- Support more senior engineering personnel in development efforts creating licensing documents for submittal to Westinghouse customers and regulatory agencies
- Collaborate and build relationships with multiple engineering teams to create licensing inputs
- Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory meetings to present technical materials
- Communicate nature and status of work performed to appropriate technical lead and management
- Perform work within established scope, budgetary and schedule requirements
- Evaluate engineering design changes for regulatory requirements
- Help resolve emergent issues with the potential to improve an operating plant license
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, or Chemical Engineering
- 0+ years experience required
- Teamwork oriented
- Learn US and International regulatory processes for nuclear power plants
- Considering a career in the nuclear power industry
- Ability to travel within US (<10% travel expected to support customer, industry, or regulator activities)
