About the role

  • Serve as technical lead for Plant Reliability Optimization (PRO) programs such as Equipment Classification, Preventive Maintenance Optimization, Spares Parts Strategies, Cycle Plan Alignment, and Functional Equipment Group Development.
  • Drive integration of risk-informed insights into maintenance templates, surveillance intervals, and spare parts strategies.
  • Apply INPO AP-913 Equipment Reliability and AP-928 Work Planning principles to develop Equipment Reliability Strategies to work the right equipment at the right time, reducing equipment unavailability and increasing station resource bandwidth to perform critical and emergent work.
  • Support project managers and leaders to provide project technical oversight and act as main point of contact for client technical SMEs.
  • Present recommendations to client fleet/station leadership as necessary to achieve alignment and approval of deliverables.
  • Support business unit customer solutions in the development of proposals, project technical descriptions and estimates.
  • Provide mentoring and training of other engineering team members and client project stakeholders.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, Civil or related discipline)
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the power, manufacturing, or similar industry
  • Experience with equipment reliability and maintenance strategies
  • Beneficial: Advanced degree or Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Familiarity with Risk-Informed Categorization and Treatment (10CFR50.69) programs
  • Familiarity with INPO AP-913 and AP-928
  • Familiarity with IEEE 323, IEEE 344, ASME, and related standards
  • Knowledge of configuration management, corrective action programs, and RCM principles
