About the role
- Develop and oversee execution of project sourcing strategies
- Build and use relationships with BU project teams to understand and develop procurement solutions.
- Coordinate procurement activities to ensure agreement on our goals
- Establish pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy financial, quality and delivery requirements on projects
- Contribute to project planning proposals and approval stage-gates
- Preparation and coordination of the RFx process for assigned projects
- Partner with business unit to improve sourcing strategies and supplier engagement
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and team members while mediating and resolving contract performance issues.
- Use the corporate Approved Supplier List Process for sourcing requirements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Westinghouse's Procurement procedures.
- Make a purchase order or contract, then manage supply and supplier commitments.
- Support Accounts Payables for resolution of discrepancies between the supplier invoices and the purchase orders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience supply chain management, with at least 3 years in project management
- Experience working with and across global teams
- We prefer experience in sourcing, supplier management, and knowledge of the supplier base for the nuclear sector.
- Expertise in procurement systems (SAP, Ariba) or similar systems preferred
- Ability to travel from 10 to 20%
