About the role

  • Promote ethical conduct, transparency, traceability and data integrity in all laboratory activities, aligned with ISO/IEC 17025 and Nuclear Safety Culture principles
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain analytical procedures for bulk metal composition and trace analysis, including OES/XRF, combustion, and hot extraction
  • Ensure data acquisition, processing and reporting follow controlled procedures, including instrument configuration, audit trails, versioning and traceable calculations
  • Perform advanced chemical analyses using validated procedures, including sample preparation (weighing, digestion, dilution), calibration, and QC verification
  • Prepare and issue compliant test reports including method identification, traceability, QC status, and measurement uncertainty where applicable
  • Perform technical evaluation of subcontracted laboratory reports, including method equivalence, uncertainty statements, traceability evidence and QC adequacy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years in a chemical testing laboratory
  • Advanced competence in method validation, uncertainty evaluation, QC tools and audit readiness
  • Data-management experience (including LIMS)
  • English level: intermediate B2
