About the role
- Verify quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries for Westinghouse
- Evaluate all suppliers as requested by the Delivery Stream Manager
- Drive/Support Supplier Identification and down selection
- Drive/Support completion of Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations (as needed)
- Lead Request for Quotation (RFQ) package creation
- Execute Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points
- Create Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and schedule
- Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with Suppliers and Westinghouse Project Support Team Members
- Manage execution of required Supplier QA Witness and Hold Points
- Drive/Support Purchase Order (PO) Change Notices (as needed)
- Ensure the Westinghouse Quality Release (QR) has been completed to support shipment
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of experience (experience in contract/project administration, preferably of large, complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects is preferred)
- Experience preferred in the Power Generation or Nuclear Industry, or other highly regulated industries
- Willingness to travel up to 20% to support emergent project issues/supplier development
