About the role
- Manage and drive the schedule and cost associated with Projects
- Drive an accurate demand signal to the departments and work with Project Managers to resource load the schedule
- Mentor new engineers
- Manage risks/challenges within all project areas (Software/Hardware/Functional system design/testing of final systems)
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and develop recovery plans
- Lead contact for Functional Area Leads, and Project Managers
- Support the Resource Managers, Project Manager and Technical Lead.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Ability to travel as projects require (up to 10% for peak times)
- Cognizance in at least one of the following technical areas:
- o Integrated systems Engineering
- o Control Systems and Setpoints
- o Nuclear Steam Supply Systems
- o Protection and Safety Monitoring System
- o Product Development – hardware and software
- o Independent Verification & Validation including Test Engineering
- Command of responsible subject matter as well as the product application life cycle and design process for the assigned subject matter area.
