About the role

  • Oversee a small matrix team consisting of Supply Chain Buyers, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Supplier Performance Engineering
  • Ensure Supplier maintains quality, cost, schedule, and technical requirements associated with procurement
  • Coordinate with Engineering for component design, Supplier request for quote, bid evaluation, purchase order placement through manufacturing and delivery of assigned equipment
  • Support Supplier Identification and down selection
  • Support completion of Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations
  • Create Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for design option selection or validation of cost and schedule
  • Coordinate Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points
  • Create Agendas and support Kick-Off meetings with Suppliers
  • Schedule and support scheduled meetings with Supplier and Westinghouse Project Support Team Members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering
  • 0 or more years of experience in the Power Generation or Nuclear Industries
  • Experience in other industries such as Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Refineries, Offshore Oil Production Platforms, Ship Building, Manufacturing Plants, Supply Chain
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Capability Assessment concepts/Supplier Technical Evaluations
