About the role
- Oversee a small matrix team consisting of Supply Chain Buyers, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Supplier Performance Engineering
- Ensure Supplier maintains quality, cost, schedule, and technical requirements associated with procurement
- Coordinate with Engineering for component design, Supplier request for quote, bid evaluation, purchase order placement through manufacturing and delivery of assigned equipment
- Support Supplier Identification and down selection
- Support completion of Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations
- Create Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for design option selection or validation of cost and schedule
- Coordinate Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points
- Create Agendas and support Kick-Off meetings with Suppliers
- Schedule and support scheduled meetings with Supplier and Westinghouse Project Support Team Members
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering
- 0 or more years of experience in the Power Generation or Nuclear Industries
- Experience in other industries such as Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Refineries, Offshore Oil Production Platforms, Ship Building, Manufacturing Plants, Supply Chain
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Capability Assessment concepts/Supplier Technical Evaluations
