About the role
- Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, specifications, and reports; develop visual aids such as diagrams and flowcharts to support engineering deliverables
- Manage configuration control for drawings, documents, bills of material, and test results; ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and project metrics to enable data-driven decision-making
- Support estimation, planning, and tracking activities; organize and facilitate program increments, technical reviews, and status meetings
- Serve as a liaison between engineering and support functions (IT, Facilities, HR) to resolve operational needs and maintain alignment
- Identify and implement workflow improvements, enhance documentation practices, and drive adoption of tools to increase team efficiency
- Coordinate onboarding activities and training sessions for new team members; provide guidance and mentorship as needed
- Oversee technical workspace logistics, including lab access and equipment requirements
- Support implementation and adoption of collaboration tools and systems to streamline operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Communications, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in engineering operations, project coordination, or technical team support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint, Jira)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to interpret technical terminology and workflows
- Advanced degree or coursework in project management, technical writing, or systems operations (preferred)
- Experience with visualization tools (Visio, AutoCAD) and familiarity with agile methodologies (preferred)
- Background in technical consulting, quality assurance, or safety-critical systems (preferred)
