About the role
- Oversee the development, and analysis of complex technical products and processes.
- Mentor, guide and train less experienced engineers and provides leadership by example.
- Communicate with Field Operations, incumbent design engineers and fabrication to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
- Prepare 3D models of tooling designs and systems using Autodesk Inventor, including detailed drawings.
- Ensure the manufacturing, testing, and service operations are receiving technical support.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in applicable field of study.
- 10 years' experience in mechanical design required.
- Understand and application of part tolerancing for assembly and use of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault or equivalent software.
- Experience with FEA software such as Ansys or equivalent.
