About the role
- Help implement the Westinghouse Quality Management System, project quality plans, and project procedures for APX projects.
- Assure project team is adequately trained in project requirements and implementing procedures.
- Work with engineering, supply chain, and project management to support APX projects.
- Maintain compliance with the Westinghouse Quality Management System for project execution.
- Promote a mature and healthy Nuclear Safety Culture and Safety Conscious Work Environment.
- Guide safe, error free performance through active use and promotion of Human Performance tools and organizational learning.
- Communicate and implement quality assurance best practices through continuous improvement.
- Ensure rigorous programmatic oversight of specified activities.
- Recommend and implement solutions to quality problems, corrective and preventive actions, and ensure solutions are communicated and implemented to appropriate team members.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of nuclear quality assurance experience
- Knowledge of nuclear quality assurance regulations, codes, and standards required, including:
- ISO 9001 and 19443,
- 10CFR50 Appendix B,
- ASME NQA-1,
- ASME Section III B&PV Code,
- 10CFR21, and comparable international regulations
- Abilities:
- Application of Nuclear Safety Culture and Human Performance principles,
- Application of engineering, manufacturing, fabrication and testing work processes,
- Lead audits within 24 months
