About the role
- Identify and support strategic initiatives, develop product offerings, and pursue target product markets.
- This may include project management of strategic taskforces, developing/supporting supplier teaming arrangements, supporting project teams for part delivery/product development/offer development, market/acquisition assessments, support for outside sales organization on product value propositions, leading commercial discussions with suppliers and customers, and interface with global customers/suppliers.
- Work with engineering and shop operations teams on solution identification, obsolescence management, equipment qualification, product lifecycle and new product introduction (Innovation/R&D).
- Support product marketing and sales efforts through offer development support, marketing materials updating / generation, and presentation material for both customers and WPB sales.
- Travel to customers, suppliers and/or industry conferences, could be internationally.
- Other duties as assigned with the goal of implementing Westinghouse Parts Business strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 7+ years of professional experience in Engineering or Business
- Advanced knowledge of nuclear products market and product management concepts.
- Knowledge of electrical power distribution products (Breakers, Switchgear, MCCs, Relaying etc.)
- Ability to effectively manage multiple domestic and international stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Experience reviewing, developing, and communicating technical specifications to other stakeholders within the organization.
