About the role
- Participate in introductory fuel rod design specific training and learning seminars
- Learn about the primary tasks of a fuel rod, the criteria that must be confirmed, and the codes used to evaluate fuel performance
- Perform fuel rod design analyses by using the internal fuel performance codes following our approved methodologies
- Work directly with industry professionals who will teach you the technical and professional aspects of fuel rod design and working in the nuclear industry
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Complete Sophomore year of college
- Computer simulation, programming skills and Linux experience
