About the role
- Develop bid and design specifications for hydro plant projects.
- Coordinate all phases of project lifecycle: initiation, design, construction, and closeout.
- Collaborate with hydro plant management, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (FERC, DNR, MPCA).
- Manage schedules, budgets, and documentation using company systems and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Controls, or Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- Minimum 2 years of engineering experience.
- Hydro or industrial experience strongly preferred; hydro familiarity (6+ months) is a plus.
- Valid driver's license.
- FE/EIT certification; PE License a plus.
- PMP certification or project management experience.
- Experience with SAP (work management), scheduling tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project), and Bluebeam.
