About the role
- Oversee all the procurement activities (pre-PO and post-PO) for Energy Systems with a focus on ensuring components are delivered, on budget, and meeting all applicable quality requirements
- Lead large-scale procurement projects, collaborating with teams to build implementation plans
- Support development of sourcing & procurement strategies and plans together with Offer and Project Teams
- Identify and capture the demand, identify potential suppliers, and establish a communication channel towards the suppliers
- Support Commercial Teams with execution of sourcing strategies to achieve our goals
- Coordinate the RFx Process and establishing sourcing strategies for suppliers and services
- Solicit quotations and analyze contract proposals while leading formulation of strategy and negotiation of pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy requirements for complex and specialized materials, equipment and services
- Lead Contract preparation and purchasing process
- Evaluate all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify and obtain cost improvements
- Develop strategies to maximize supplier base cost/value
- Develop relationships with main suppliers and partners while mediating and resolving contract performance issues
Requirements
- 7-12 years of experience in contract/project administration of large engineering, procurement, and construction, cross-functional projects
- BA/BS degree in engineering or equivalent
- Experience developing and maintain long term productive relationships with suppliers (SRM)
- Readiness to engage at all organizational levels, ability to cultivate and sustain high quality professional relationships
- Experience in International Sourcing (knowledge of supplier base for the nuclear sector would be a plus)
- Must be creative and have strong problem-solving skills along with sense of ownership, time-management, prioritizing, planning, and self-direction skills
- Experience transforming plans into practical, results-driven operations
- Microsoft Project Expertise or similar scheduling software systems
- Availability to travel from 10 to 20% (within Europe, Poland)
