About the role

  • Lead the identification and assessment of strategic growth opportunities in collaboration with the executive team, Business Unit leaders and their staff
  • Lead teams of leaders for delivering high-quality strategic assessments and plans
  • Lead in-depth competitor analysis exercises with important partners across Westinghouse
  • Support Westinghouse's owners in their evaluation of all markets, technologies, and acquisitions
  • Collaborate with Corporate Development team to determine and decide on the strategic fit for targeted acquisitions
  • Report out to executive management on market possible effects, strategic assessments, and overall strategic planning process milestones
  • Support the annual Enterprise Strategic Planning process for Westinghouse and our subsidiaries to form the underpinning for Westinghouse's five-year plan

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or relevant subjects
  • MBA or equivalent from a top program
  • 5 or more years of cumulative business experience, including 1-2 years post-MBA at a major top tier Management Consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, LEK)
  • Preference for experience in manufacturing, energy, or utility industry
  • Experience in engineering or product management or operations or commercial is preferable
  • Understanding of the important levers to deliver total shareholder return (TSR)
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
  • International experience is a plus but is not required
