About the role
- You are the technical lead for the design, development, qualification, and commissioning of equipment installed in a Nuclear Power Plant.
- Your knowledge of manufacturing processes for boilermaking equipment within a constrained regulatory environment enables you to identify the right solutions to the problems encountered.
- You ensure compliance with standard practices, regulatory requirements, and applicable standards.
- You prepare technical specifications and regulatory documentation.
- You participate in technical meetings with the customer, the authorized/regulatory body, and suppliers.
- You provide regular reporting to the Project Manager or Technical Lead to whom you report.
- Your experience and skills enable you to foster innovation within the company.
- You are also part of the Westinghouse Technical Leader Development Program.
- Depending on overall workload, you may be required to work on multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
Requirements
- Master's degree
- 1 to 5 years of experience as a mechanical engineer in an industrial environment
- Knowledge of the nuclear environment (RCC-M Code, ESPN and PED regulations) is an asset
- Comfortable using IT tools
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken, enabling effective communication with project stakeholders
