About the role
- Support our global contract management teams in achieving customer satisfaction and executing contracts flawlessly and with agility by fostering closer customer relationships.
- Provide support to the contract management team across key areas of contract execution, including: understanding and forecasting customer needs; managing manufacturing issues and developments; addressing transport and delivery challenges; evaluating security-of-supply assessments; overseeing engineering project management; and handling contractual matters such as claims.
- Participate in offer development and negotiations, primarily for day-to-day offers and orders in direct support of our main contracts.
- Coach our delivery organizations to understand and meet customer requirements and expectations.
- Act as a trusted Westinghouse representative to the customer and as the customer’s trusted point of contact to Westinghouse.
- Collaborate with the Fuel Business Manager and the commercial team to develop and secure new business opportunities, support product and service promotion to customers, capture customer needs and gather Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or another relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the (French) nuclear sector, preferably in fuel-related areas.
- Strong customer relationship and communication skills: ability to build trust and establish close customer engagement.
- Project management skills: ability to understand issues, risks and barriers; identify solutions; and lead teams to resolution.
- Formal project management certification is not required.
- Business development skills: active listening, identifying opportunities and articulating appropriate solutions.
- At least 3 years’ experience with EDF nuclear projects: familiarity with the EDF mindset, working practices, customer situation and needs.
- Experience in nuclear fuel (manufacturing, engineering, commercial) is a plus and will reduce the learning curve.
- French: fluent in spoken and written communication.
- English: fluent in spoken and written communication.
