About the role
- Oversee on-site construction of utility-scale solar projects from Notice-to-Proceed to Commercial Operation Date.
- Act as client's representative and main contact for EPC contractors.
- Ensure contractors maintain safety, quality, schedule, and budget obligations.
- Review agreements, contracts, and permits to verify compliance.
- Coordinate tasks during execution turn-over and verify material deliveries and schedules.
- Conduct site audits and ensure adherence to safety plans.
- Communicate with utility and project off-taker(s) on-site for updates and approvals.
Requirements
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6 to 10 years of experience in power plant commissioning, working with EPC Contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers.
