About the role
- Lead specific projects within the Dynamic Simulation Lab and take an active part in simulation activities.
- Engage with partners within all Westinghouse organizations relevant to modelling and simulations to understand needs and ongoing activities relevant for the Dynamic Simulation Lab.
- Follow modelling and simulation activities and development within the Nuclear Industry and other relevant areas.
- Initiate and take an active part in external collaborations.
- Be part in introducing new technology, including AI/ML, to ensure more efficient simulation workflows, product optimization and introduce simulation to new areas.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Masters degree in Engineering or related Discipline (e.g. Simulation, Nuclear, Mathematics) or recognized equivalent required
- 5+ years of experience in the following disciplines - Nuclear Engineering/Physics or Structural Analysis
- Experience working with advanced simulations and general programming skills
- Experience with the role of simulations in the Nuclear Industry and a relevant network both inside Westinghouse and outside
- Experience in solving complex technical challenges and evaluate potential solutions
- Proven teamwork and collaboration skills are important for this role.
