About the role
- Analyze organizational information challenges, current processes, and procedures.
- Recommend and implement new processes and/or enhancements that improve system efficiency, productivity, consistency controls and protocols across the organization.
- Orchestrate and lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, validate and document business requirements for IT applications.
- Validate enhancements to ensure the functionalities via testing
- Provide user support, investigate and resolve issues of IT interfaces and applications as required.
- Analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, business systems/IT integrations/interfaces, creating actionable insights, requirements, and designs contributing to OSS related business decisions.
- Ensure safety and quality are the primary focus on all project activities
- Develop and lead a robust method to support both OSS program areas and WEC IT Departments
- Own select critical issues and drive to closure while reporting accordingly at various levels
- Own select strategic initiatives and provide expertise and guidance on Business Systems/IT best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, technical degree preferred but not required
- 8+ years of progressive experience in leading large, complex data analytics and design, overseeing Business/IT Projects and ensuring accurate business requirements identification, data needs, quality and consistency across an organization's systems and interfaces
- Technical leadership experience may be considered in lieu of direct project management experience
- Demonstrated accountability for results while working in a highly independent lead position
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle.
- Excellent analytical skills in evaluation and interpreting end user information requirements, trouble shooting, problem solving data extraction.
- Experience with SAP, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft® Office tools, and Power BI is desired
- Some travel (estimate to be up to 10%) may be required for this position to customer sites, vendor facilities, or various Westinghouse facilities outside the home office
- Willingness to support outside of typical hours (nights, weekends) occasionally to support critical issues emerging at customer sites.
