Perform standard and non-standard reload analysis work for US and international customers
Follow and understand approved methodologies, procedures, and internal processes with focus on nuclear safety to produce error-free work
Development and optimization of safe, economic bundle and core designs
Development of cycle operation techniques and simulation of transient events for establishing reactor operating limits
Perform engineering design and analysis and propose solutions to complex problems that are not well defined
Coordinate and integrate complex technical projects that encompass multiple areas, achieve established budget and schedule requirements
Communicate with customers and multi-functional project teams
Be an expert knowledge resource of specific engineering discipline
Develop and deliver presentations to communicate status, problem resolution or promote related business products
Support development of new methods and processes for implementing technical requirements
Prepare technical documents for associated licensing approvals and provide expertise and consultation to technical panels, reviews, committees, regulators, customers, and partners on Nuclear Design related topics
Support and provide technical leadership for special projects such as developing new fuel designs and operating strategies, improving modeling and analysis techniques, implementing calculation automation, and supporting solutions to emergent customer issues.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering or related Discipline or recognized equivalent required
4 years' experience
Experience working with customers
