Lead teams to manage supplier program development, oversight, and quality verification activities for externally sourced products
Develop and implement supplier surveillance and oversight plans for complex and first of a kind procurements
Lead assessments of the global supply base for compliance with regulations, codes and standards
Evaluate supplier quality plans, procedures, and processes to verify compliance to Westinghouse requirements
Apply advanced quality control techniques and statistical methods to identify failures and trends
Create certification documents for major equipment and components detailing procurement requirements met
Write segments of QA plans/programs according to NRC, Westinghouse and customer QA standards
Implement policies on scope and retention requirements of QA documentation
Report to the Manager, Supplier Quality Assessments
Travel 40-50% required

Requirements
5 or more years of experience is required
An NQA-1 Certified Lead Auditor certification is desirable
A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, technical area or equivalent is required
Capability to concisely explain QA procedures to internal personnel and external customers, subcontractors, suppliers and licensees relative to Westinghouse quality related products and services
Ability to develop solutions, plan work and set priorities while using a questioning attitude to identify risks
