About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of hotel systems and facilities
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs, including minor plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, furniture, flooring, and HVAC-related tasks
- Respond promptly to guest requests and maintenance work orders
- Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance concerns to Engineering leadership
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs to support hotel operations and protect hotel assets
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of engineering workspaces, tools, and equipment
- Support meeting room setups, special events, and other operational needs as required
- Assist with exterior property maintenance and other duties assigned by Engineering leadership.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards
- Eager to develop skills in hotel engineering and facilities maintenance
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and basic repairs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
