Owns Profit and Loss accountability for multiple insurance product lines, sectors, states and regions and reports P/L growth performance to stakeholders.
Achieves underwriting profit and growth objectives through product, pricing, underwriting, and other actions in partnership with cross-functional teams.
Collaborates with senior leadership and stakeholders to develop multi-year customer-centric product strategy for assigned products.
Leads development and innovation of insurance products from concept to launch: market research, feature design, pricing, regulatory compliance, testing, and documentation.
Recommends and negotiates improvements or changes in process or systems design.
Monitors and analyzes product performance tracking KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Identifies market opportunities, defines product vision and strategy, and delivers measurable results including process improvements.
Resolves system issues by leading research and root-cause analysis and monitoring system controls and processes to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in Insurance Product Management or a related field.
Bachelor's degree in business or any relevant field and/or commensurate experience.
Master's degree in management or technical field preferred.
2+ Years in Auto Product Management (Commercial or Personal Lines) preferred.
