Gain insights into financial reporting and tax processes within an insurance company.
Assist with project management and prepare/file state and local tax returns.
Analyze processes, update standard operating procedures, and support compliance/regulatory work.
Lead a self-directed continuous improvement project encouraging intern innovation.
Participate in training programs, workshops, and internship events (e.g., Lunch and Learns).
Complete assigned tasks, conduct research, gather and analyze data, and take responsibility for administrative/support tasks.
Collaborate with colleagues, deliver presentations, and develop business communication skills.
Field roles may require driving/traveling at least 25% of working time.
Requirements
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and/or commensurate experience.
Either actively enrolled in an academic institution in pursuit of a degree in a relevant course of study or a recent college graduate (degree within past 12 months).
For field roles: Valid driver's license and driving record that conforms to company standards.
