  • Shape a Global Voice - Design and lead a world-class communications and engagement strategy that unites Westfalia Fruit’s global workforce under one powerful, purpose-driven narrative.
  • Champion a Unified Brand Message - Establish a consistent tone of voice across all internal and external platforms, ensuring alignment with corporate values and the Buy–Move–Sell transformation model.
  • Engage Our People, Empower Our Culture - Inspire pride and inclusivity through compelling internal communications and campaigns that bring strategy, values, and employee experience to life.
  • Drive Global Thought Leadership - Lead external communications and PR, positioning Westfalia as a trusted voice in sustainable agriculture, fresh produce, and food innovation.
  • Command the Headlines, Protect the Reputation - Own media relations, build strong journalist and stakeholder connections, and lead crisis communication strategies with confidence and clarity.
  • Activate Strategic Channels - Oversee intranets, newsletters, social media, digital platforms, and global town halls—ensuring every message lands with impact.
  • Partner with Leaders at Every Level - Collaborate with executive leaders across People, Customer, Supply Chain, and Operations to embed communications into every corner of the business.
  • Lead & Develop a World-Class Team - Build and nurture a high-performing global communications team—introducing best practices, tools, and measurement to drive excellence.
  • Measure What Matters - Track the impact of all communications initiatives, turning insights into action and driving continuous improvement.
  • Advocate For Our People - Advocate for employee perspectives, fostering connection, clarity, and engagement across all global markets.

Requirements

  • Progressive experience in corporate communications, PR, or employee engagement, ideally in a multinational, fast-paced organisation.
  • Demonstrated track record in managing internal and external communications at a global scale, including PR campaigns, brand positioning, and employee engagement programmes.
  • Strong experience in advising senior leaders on reputation management, media handling, and crisis communications.
  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Expertise in multi-channel communications (digital platforms, intranet, social, media relations, events).
  • Proficiency in developing metrics and dashboards to measure communication effectiveness and employee engagement.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, with ability to align communications across P&C, Enabling Functions, Customer, Supply Chain, and Farming, Operations & Sourcing functions.
  • Excellent storytelling ability, with a clear, compelling, and audience-appropriate style.
  • Calm under pressure, able to lead communications during crises and sensitive issues.
  • Highly collaborative, able to influence across functions and geographies.
  • Commercially astute, balancing business priorities with employee and stakeholder needs.
  • Culturally agile and inclusive, able to connect with diverse global audiences.
  • Strategic yet hands-on; comfortable operating at boardroom level and diving into detail when needed
  • Previous exposure to food, FMCG, agriculture, or supply chain sectors advantageous but not essential.
  • Postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications in communications, PR, or change management are advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of media landscape across Europe, North America, Africa, and LATAM. Far-east / Asia would be beneficial.
