About the role
- Create and maintain documentation on Internal Audit’s methodology, including strategy/mission/vision and compliance with IIA standards.
- Create project plans and drive implementation of internal audit strategic initiatives.
- Manage staffing of senior and staff auditors globally and establish staffing processes.
- Prepare/draft executive and Audit Committee reporting and periodic management reporting.
- Manage the annual risk assessment process in collaboration with Internal Audit Leadership.
- Maintain AuditBoard and ensure alignment with methodology and goals.
- Direct audit issue follow-up processes and escalate as necessary.
- Direct succession planning and monitor department goals.
- Coordinate internal audit conferences and training courses.
- Enhance and maintain internal quality assurance program and execute QA program with reporting to CAO and CFO.
- Manage one audit annually.
- Direct the SOX PMO Leader and maintain external audit relationships.
- Direct the Data Analytics team in Vilnius and partner with business leaders on special projects and ad hoc analysis.
- Direct Global internal audit program for FX businesses and Company owned stores; manage Global FX audit team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required in relevant subject area such as business, accounting, finance, etc.
- Masters degree preferred in a relevant subject area.
- 10 years of relevant experience in the management of auditing, compliance and/or risk management
- 3 years of experience managing teams of auditors.
- Certification required: CPA, CIA, CFE, or equivalent.
- Well versed in internal controls, regulatory compliance, risk management and SOX Compliance.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills should be strong.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with all levels of management is required.
- Experience in FINTech industry strongly preferred.
