About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive large-scale cross-selling across an assigned portfolio of strategic partnerships.
- Lead new business acquisition within designated industries.
- Actively represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements.
- Lead research efforts to identify and pursue new industry verticals.
- Establish and nurture relationships at existing networks to develop new business.
- Participate in annual planning meetings and quarterly updates with existing partners.
- Meet and exceed goals related to large-scale growth opportunities including cross-selling new products/services.
- Deeply engage in assigned industry events to establish oneself as an industry expert.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-7 years of business development success within retail, digital and/or financial services.
- Proven success in winning and exceeding growth targets.
- Preference for business or finance undergraduate degree.
- Outstanding communication and management skills with ability to influence individuals and teams.
- People management is not required but needs to have proven experience in building relationships with outside agents.
- Advanced Microsoft skills, including ability to create professional client-facing and internal presentations.
- Ability to establish self as an industry expert.
- Communication, relationship-building and presentation skills to influence and persuade others.
- Strategic and creative thinker to develop concepts that deliver results.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail to fully execute plans.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
