About the role
- Plan and oversee the production of virtual, in‑person and hybrid events for global audiences.
- Collaborate with internal partners to develop pre-event communications and promotional strategies.
- Manage all event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, technical requirements, and on‑site execution.
- Build detailed project plans outlining timelines, budgets, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, HR, Facilities, Leadership) to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Oversee post-event analysis, reporting and feedback integration.
- Develop compelling event content, narratives and programming that align with business and audience needs.
- Source, manage and direct vendors for filming, producing, and editing company videos.
- Create meaningful attendee experiences that reinforce cultural values and event goals.
- Identify and manage speakers, presenters, facilitators and talent.
- Produce run‑of‑show documents, scripts and briefing materials and manage overall event flow.
- Oversee all audio/visual production requirements, including live-streaming, multi-camera capture, staging and virtual platform management.
- Manage registration systems, attendee communications and content distribution before, during, and after events.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real time for both virtual and in‑person experiences.
- Ensure all events meet accessibility standards, providing inclusive experiences for diverse audiences.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to translate business objectives into communications strategies and event experiences.
- Lead vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage performance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships across regions to ensure global alignment and consistency.
- Collect feedback, measure event and communications effectiveness, and recommend continuous improvements.
- Support global communication campaigns, messaging, and content development as needed.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in marketing, public relations, market research and/or corporate communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience planning and executing complex events and multimedia projects for diverse or global audiences.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Expertise with virtual event platforms (e.g., Teams Live, Zoom Webinar, ON24), A/V equipment, and production workflows.
- Experience managing external agencies, production crews, and freelance talent.
- Ability to craft clear, compelling communications and event narratives.
- Strong understanding of creative development processes (storyboarding, filming, editing, post-production).
- Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments and make real-time decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive event design.
- Comfort working with senior leaders and presenting recommendations confidently.
