About the role
- Ensure SOX compliance controls and processes are in place for each country/entity within the region
- Manage day-to-day execution of controls, ensuring all internal and banking approvals are completed on time
- Organize the team to maintain coverage and backup when members are out
- Facilitate cross-training across the region to eliminate single points of failure
- Maintain accurate process documentation for all activities
- Act as the escalation point for issues requiring resolution
Requirements
- Strong understanding of SOX compliance and internal control frameworks
- Proven ability to manage approval workflows and operational processes
- Excellent organizational skills with experience in team coordination and cross-training
- Ability to create and maintain process documentation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to serve as an effective escalation point
