Professionally represent Western Steel Buildings and understand company mission and guiding questions
Sell and manage Western Steel Buildings projects (5,000+ square feet) in assigned territory
Work with National Sales Manager to implement strategies to increase sales in the assigned territory
Manage projects from initial client contact through construction and completion
Serve as main point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and facilitating communication
Be knowledgeable about all facets of steel buildings from design to completion, including erection and concrete work
Read blueprints, perform site planning, and assess snow load and wind load requirements
Demonstrate proficiency in building project processes from breaking ground to site work and foundation design
Assist with electrical planning, lighting requirements, hangar doors, curtain walls, mezzanines, HVAC, fire sprinklers, insulated panels, and custom finishes
Identify and establish relationships with potential clients and proactively generate leads
Respond to written/email inquiries received before noon by end of business day and return phone calls within 60 minutes if not answered
Draft purchase orders for management approval, collect deposits, and prepare uniform design approval documents
Finalize building designs with clients and collect completed approval documents
Use internal metal building design software proficiently
Add value by selling recommended accessories and coordinating installation
Partner with service team to facilitate fabrication, delivery, and installation
Coordinate referral client inquiries to appropriate company contacts
Collect/solicit client reviews (Google, Yelp, etc.) after delivery and installation are complete
Travel approximately 40% as required
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field preferred
Proven experience in account management, business development, or sales within the construction industry, preferably with metal buildings or related products/services
Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and industry standards
Proficiency in reading blueprints, site planning, snow load, wind load, and other technical aspects of steel buildings
Proficiency in internal metal building design software
General understanding of steel erection and concrete work
Experience with building systems: electrical planning, HVAC, fire sprinkler systems, insulated panels, hangar doors, curtain walls, mezzanines, etc.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and meet targets
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Self-motivated, results-oriented, capable of working independently and collaboratively
Must be located in Nevada (APPLICANTS MUST BE SITTING IN NEVADA STATE)
