About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the organization’s talent acquisition life cycle which includes sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective employees to find the right match for the company’s long-term goals.
- Activities include screening resumes, scheduling and facilitating interviews with candidates, managing background screening, determining and facilitating job offers, assisting newly onboarded employees with paperwork, and supporting all onboarding strategies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree and three (3) to five (5) years’ experience working as a recruiter or five (5) to seven (7) years of direct human resources experience with an emphasis on full-cycle recruitment preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of social media, job placement agencies, outside recruiters, and online job search engines to recruit for open positions
- Moderate experience recruiting for highly specialized positions
- Moderate knowledge of employment laws, fair hiring, and other human resource compliance issues
- Strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a multi-project/task environment
- A high degree of experience creating reports, tracking data, and using it to make informed decisions.
- High level of organization and attention to detail with strong ethics to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Proficient in end-user software programs (e.g., word-processing, spreadsheet software, applicant tracking systems, and human resources information systems).
- Intermediate knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS). Paycom knowledge a plus.
- Internet access provided by a cable or fiber provider with 40 MB download and 10 MB upload speeds.
- Home router with wired Ethernet (wireless connections and hotspots are not permitted). A designated room for your office or steps are taken to protect company information (e.g., facing computer towards the wall, etc.)
- A functioning smoke detector, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit on site.
